Case Overview

FeganScott is investigating Flo, a period and fertility tracker app, based on reports that it disclosed user’s health information to third parties without consent. In January 2021, Flo settled federal charges that it had misled users about its data-handling practices by sharing their intimate health details with Facebook and Google. By allegedly not putting limits on how other companies used this health information, Flo gave third parties the ability to use this data for advertising and other purposes.
