Case Overview

FeganScott is launching an investigation into Hyundai and Kia on behalf of owners and lessees of 2017-2022 Kia Niro Hybrid, 2018-2022 Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid, and 2017-2022 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid vehicles relating to an engine defect placing consumers at risk.

The defect, which involves the hydraulic clutch actuator, can lead to engine failure and spontaneous engine compartment fires.

Kia has issued a recall for its 2017-2022 Kia Niro Hybrid vehicles, but FeganScott has concerns that the defect may be more widespread, and urges drivers of all the vehicles in question to take caution.

If you drive or someone you know drives one of these vehicles – 2017-2022 Kia Niro Hybrid, 2018-2022 Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid or 2017-2022 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid – please contact our firm today to learn more about our investigation.
