Case Overview

FeganScott is investigating claims that QNAP Systems, Inc.’s network-accessed storage (NAS) devices have security vulnerabilities that make their users susceptible to ransomware attacks, malware campaigns, and other security issues.

Reports claim that thousands who have connected their QNAP NAS devices to the internet have been exposed to security issues, and that QNAP has not gone far enough to secure their devices, has taken too long to provide solutions, or has provided solutions that are inadequate or too complicated to implement.

Even those QNAP NAS purchasers who did not experience a security breach may feel uncomfortable connecting their device to the Internet or using it at all.
