FeganScott is launching an investigation into the Lansing Community College data breach that occurred on February 12th, 2025. Lansing Community College, a Lansing, Michigan-based community college, recently announced the data breach on June 5, 2026, more than a year after the incident occurred.
According to the notice sent out by the school, an unauthorized actor accessed the personally identifiable information of students and other individuals after gaining access to Lansing Community College’s systems through credential compromise.
