FeganScott is launching an investigation into Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC, on behalf of owners and lessees of 2014-2018 C300, 2014-2018 C200, 2014-2018 C250, 2015-2018 E300, 2015-2019 GLC300, 2016-2019 GLC250, and 2015-2019 SLC300 vehicles relating to a potential defect that could cause premature engine failure.
The potential defect is found in vehicles equipped with an M247 engine and can lead to complete piston failure, forcing owners and lessees to pay for an engine replacement that could cost upwards of $20,000. Prior to the engine failures, owners have reported losing power while driving, shaking, white smoke from the exhaust and a burnt oil smell coming from the engine.
If you own or lease one of the vehicles in question and have recently experienced engine problems or paid for an engine replacement, contact FeganScott at autosafety@feganscott.com to learn more about your rights under the law.
