Beth Fegan was co-lead counsel in nationwide class action lawsuit against Midland National Life Insurance Company. The lawsuit claimed the company engaged in a scheme to reap profits by exploiting and preying on senior citizens.

Plaintiffs alleged that Midland National knowingly sold deferred annuity products to senior citizens that would not mature until after the annuitant’s life expectancy – sometimes as late as 110 years old.

The case was settled for approximately $80 million, benefitting more than 70,000 senior citizens.
