FeganScott is launching an investigation into the recent data security incident involving Raptor Technologies that reportedly left millions of records, including the personal information of millions of students, parents and teachers and highly sensitive safety information, exposed.

According to a report from K-12 Dive, more than 4 million private records were found to be publicly accessible by a cybersecurity researcher.

In January 2024, Raptor Technologies, which provides school safety software technology solutions to more than a third of all school districts in the country, began notifying customers that may have been impacted by the data leak.
