Harvey Weinstein reported to a board of directors when he sat atop The Weinstein Company. So did former Abercrombie CEO Mike Jeffries. Boards of directors have an obligation to provide oversight of CEOs, yet both men have been accused – and, in Weinstein’s case, convicted – of horrendous sex crimes.  Why did these boards fail in their role?
